Review Summary: MeetMeNow is easy to use and offers reliable and secure communications, but is missing some important features found in GoToMeeting like application level sharing and meeting recording.
Pros: Dedicated private network. It’s easy to setup meetings. Video conferencing. Remote desktop control. Pass control to other presenters.
Cons: No Mac support (Windows only), no built-in screen recording, no VOIP integration.
WebEx is arguably the biggest name in web conferencing. Throughout the years they’ve established themselves as a top online meeting solution for mid and large sized companies. MeetMeNow is their first product aimed at small businesses.

What We Like About MeetMeNow:
Reliability and Performance – MeetMeNow utilizes the same dedicated private network that is used by WebEx’s enterprise clients. The WebEx MediaTone Network was designed specifically for real-time web collaboration. This robust private network gives you superior performance, enterprise-grade security, and always-available “dial-tone” reliability for web meetings.
Integrated Audio – Each meeting gets a special meeting number to call into. Control audio from within the meeting to mute and unmute attendees.
What We Don’t Like About MeetMeNow:
Mac Support – Mac users are left out in the cold.
Recording Functions – MeetMeNow lacks built-in meeting recording functions. We recommend GoToMeeting if you are looking to record your online meetings.
Limited Screen Sharing – With WebEx MeetMeNow you cannot control what application attendees see. When you share your desktop they can see everything on your monitor. GoToMeeting allows you to share specific applications so that attendees can only view what you want them to see.
Our Conclusion About MeetMeNow
WebEx MeetMeNow is a decent entry level online meeting product, but it doesn’t compare to other services in this same price range. If you’re looking for a full featured online meeting client check out our review of GoToMeeting.
